Have you ever felt upset with yourself for being too distracted? Glory to the objects around me; I am invited to be distracted every other minute.
Wonder who invites me? There are so many everyday things that distract me, derail me, tire me, and finally shut me down.
Let me name some of these super villains for you: strings, sticks, mirrors, furry surfaces, thread, cables, spoons, cushions, brushes, puzzle pieces, coins, hooks, lids, stickers, dusters, tissues, and the list goes infinitely on and on.
Don’t forget to add self-created bodily loops, smells, noises, and glowing visuals to this mix. It is okay to have distractions in life, but I need to find my life within distractions.
How would you feel if 99 percent distractions ruled your world? I feel that all the time. How am I supposed to eat in peace, sleep in peace, play in peace, learn in peace, overall live in peace?
If you ever find me curled up into a ball, just know this is my fancy world, just way too fancy.
